Color Infrared

Here are some photos taken with the old Kodak IE Color Infrared film. This goes back to 1990. The film was meant to be developed in Kodak’s E-4 process but is also compatible with E-6. Problem is the emulsion is pretty soft and can’t be processed at 100 °F (38 °C). I processed mine around 90-95 °F which ended up “melting” the emulsion. Also, there’s no absolute ISO speed rating on color infrared films so there’s quite a bit of trial and error and I don’t remember what the nominal ISO for this film was.

Anyway, some photos turned out. Some didn’t. Here’s a few…
